Visit to one of 126th ASEWG Brigade’s units
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited today one of the radar positions of the 126th Air Surveillance, Early Warning and Guidance (ASEWG) Brigade.
During the visit, he inspected the organization of life and work and general situation within the unit, as well as its operational and functional capabilities and the level of skill of combat teams to carry out their specific tasks.
General Mojsilović expressed his satisfaction with the 126th ASEWG Brigade members’ proficiency and skill in working with the newly acquired radar technology assets and pointed out that investment in new equipment would continue with a view to enhancing the unit’s ability to perform the important task of monitoring the airspace of the Republic of Serbia 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
On the tour, the Chief of the General Staff was accompanied by Air Force and Air Defence Commander Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, Head of Office of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Colonel Slađan Hristov, PhD, and Deputy Commander of the 126th ASEWG Brigade Colonel Miljan Milikić.
