Meeting with Serbian Military Trade Union leaders
In order to improve future cooperation with trade union organizations operating within the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Serbian Military Trade Union, headed by the president of the Serbian Military Trade Union, Saša Velinov.
The meeting was chaired by Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović.
The meeting discussed the cooperation so far, cooperation between the employer and the trade union and possibilities to further advance it in the coming period.
In a constructive dialogue, with an emphasis on an agreement concerning future cooperation in addressing important issues for the benefit of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces employees, attention was drawn to the importance of mutual respect, keeping each other informed, and adhering to a legal framework for trade union activity, bearing in mind the specificity of the defence system.
