Final Exercise for Cadets of MMA Medical Faculty “Summer 2024”
Final exercise for the cadets of 10th Class of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy of the University of Defence “Summer 2024” was successfully conducted in the barracks “Banjica” in Belgrade today.
The objective of the final exercise “Summer 2024” was to present management and command of medical units to the students, and to train them in monitoring and assessing medical situations, and in proposing appropriate measures.
The cadets demonstrated practical performance of tasks in the field, as well as capability to put the acquired knowledge into practice.
They demonstrated the reception and provision of medical care to the injured, psychologically traumatised and contaminated patients, as well as the work of the ward for preventive medical care, pharmacy division with sterilisation, the work of dental and surgical wards, implementation of reanimation measures, basic activities of work in hospitals, and the evacuation of the injured and ill.
Lieutenant Colonel Saša Milićević MD and scientific associate was the Commander of the exercise “Summer 2024”, during which the cadets demonstrated the provision of medical care to the injured and ill in the field.
The exercise was attended by Rector of the University of Defence Brigadier General, Prof Boban Đorović, Deputy Head of the MMA Brigadier General, Prof Dragan Dinčić, and Dean of the Medical Faculty of the MMA, Prof Sonja Marjanović MD.
