International course at CBRN Training Centre
International training course on CBRN protection is underway at the SAF CBRN Defence Centre in Kruševac.
The course is being delivered by certified Serbian Armed Forces’ instructors, and the trainees are members of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus, the United States of America, and Montenegro.During the course of this five-day training activity, they will broaden their knowledge of CBRN protection and receive additional training on how to use the equipment that CBRN specialists utilize in their work.
In addition to theory lessons in classrooms, the programme includes practicals in the lab and at the “Ravnjak” training ground, where the trainees will be testing the capabilities of protective means and equipment and determining the parameters and coefficients measuring the weakening of protective ability of various materials when exposed to CBRN attacks.
This and similar international courses, as well as the fact that the partner countries’ armed forces show great interest in being trained in our CBRN Centre, testify to the expertise of our instructors and the quality of CBRN defence training offered by the Serbian Armed Forces.
