Minister Gašić meets with Minister of Industry and Construction Sharlapaev in Astana



As part of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapaev in Astana today.
During the meeting, the two delegations discussed the possibilities for strengthening the existing cooperation and carrying out joint projects in the defence industry field.
The two sides see the potential for joint work on new projects that would contribute to the further development of the two countries’ defence industries.
It was concluded that the defence industry was a strong force for the development of industry and economy as a whole. Therefore, strengthening the defence industry and investing in the defence system is investing in a country’s stability and safety.
