Minister of Defence Visits "Sloboda" in Čačak



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited "Sloboda", a defence industry company based in Čačak, today.
During his visit to the company, he had a meeting with the company management and the CEO, Zoran Stefanović, where he was presented with the company’s results and plans for the upcoming period.

After the meeting, Minister Gašić took a tour of Sloboda’s production facilities, where he talked to the company employees about the new production processes, working conditions and the importance of conquering new technologies.
- I’ve had the opportunity to see the company’s progress first-hand. The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will continue equipping themselves with domestically produced state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, and it is very important for us that our defence industry factories achieve notable results. I am happy that Sloboda, as part of the domestic defence industry, continues to develop and improve its operations – said Minister Gašić.

Minister Gašić was accompanied on his tour of Sloboda by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, PhD.
