A delegation from the Ministry of Defence, led by acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović, has paid an official visit to the Republic of Hungary with the aim of intensifying the museum activity of the Serbian Ministry of Defence.
The delegation also included representatives of the Military Museum and the Aeronautical Museum, and the purpose of the visit was to gain an insight into the operations and functioning of the Military History Institute and Museum in Budapest, which operate within the Hungarian Ministry of Defence.
Serbian delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the way the Military Museum works in the Hungarian defence system, exchange experiences, and learn more about certain cultural institutions in Hungary and the heritage they preserve, such as the Buda Castle, the Balna National Defence Centre, the building of the former Hungarian Defence Forces High Command, Szent István Király Museum and the exhibition at the Military History Museum "Hadimustra - Remembering the Centuries-Long Military History of Hungary”.
Our delegation was received by Parliamentary State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defence of Hungary Tamás Vargha.
