Defence Minister’s Collegium holds meeting



Defence Minister’s Collegium held a meeting chaired by Minister Bratislav Gašić in Belgrade today.
Collegium members briefed the minister of defence on the degree of completion of tasks that fall within their respective competences.

During the meeting, current security situation in the country and the region was discussed, and it was concluded that the Serbian Armed Forces were ready to implement all decisions made by the state leadership.
It was highlighted at the meeting that priority tasks in the forthcoming period would be to further strengthen the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces through the procurement of modern weapons and military equipment and training, as well as to improve working conditions and living standards of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
