Delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces Lays a Wreath to Fallen Warrior of Košare Tibor Cerna



Today, in Debeljača near Kovačica, a delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces laid a wreath at the monument to fallen warrior of Košare Tibor Cerna.

The delegation was led by the Head of Office of the Minister of Defence Brigadier General Goran Momčilović, and the delegation also included Mile Rosić, Ana Lekić and Marija Nedeljkov from the Office of Deputy Prime Minister.

Wreaths were also laid by family members, members of the Ministry of the Interior, representatives of the local self-government and veterans’ associations.
Soldier Tibor Cerna participated in the defence of the FR Yugoslavia at the time of NATO aggression as a rifle squad commander of 125th Motorised Brigade.

He died defending border outpost Košare near Đakovica in 1999, and he was posthumously decorated by the First Degree Order for Merit in the Field of Defence and Security.
