Telephone Conversation between Minister Vučević and Minister of Defence of Cyprus Palmas
Today, Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas.
In the open and sincere conversation, they once again confirmed the mutual support for territorial integrity of the two states, and emphasised the excellent results of the cooperation achieved in the field of defence, and they analysed the plans for the future.
Minister Vučević stressed that Cyprus is our strategic partner. He pointed out that Cyprus is a member of the European Union that shows great understanding for Serbian arguments, stating that it is a nation with which we share close and brotherly ties, and, according to Minister Vučević, we respect, cherish and appreciate our friends.
Minister Palmas expressed his belief that, in the upcoming period, joint activities and cooperation would yet again confirm many times proven friendship between our two peoples and two armed forces, and he stressed that the bilateral relations of the two countries are traditionally good and friendly, founded on mutual respect and cooperation.
