- Today, the Serbian Armed Forces are specifically organized, trained and equipped to successfully address modern security risks and threats when carrying out their combat and noncombat missions, which are determined by the Defence Strategy and the military doctrine - said General Mojsilović.

A film produced by the Military Film Centre “Zastava Film”, Public Relations Department, was shown at the event, presenting the results achieved by the Serbian Armed Forces over the past year.
Minister Vučević and General Mojsilović visited the exhibition of old and rare books and contemporary publications in the Banjica 2 Barracks, which was organized by the Defence University on the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day.

April 23 was designated as the Serbian Armed Forces Day in commemoration of the day when a decision was made in Takovo on Palm Sunday in 1815, to stage a rebellion - the Second Serbian Uprising – against the Ottoman rule in Serbia.
