Minister Vučević attends “Drava se ne predaje” premiere



Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended today the premiere of the film “Drava se ne predaje” (Drava Doesn’t Surrender) at “Zastava Film”, the Military Film Centre of the Public Relations Department, MOD, in Belgrade.  
“Drava se ne predaje” is a film about the heroism of the commander of the river monitor “Drava”, Lieutenant Commander Aleksandar Berić, and his crew at the beginning of the Second World War and their defence of the homeland.  

The film was directed by Prof. Nikola Lorencin, and the screenplay was written by Lieutenant Commander Dragan Spasojević from the River Flotilla.
The film was produced by the Military Film Centre “Zastava Film” and “Crater Studio”, a Belgrade-based animation and postproduction studio. In addition to the Film Centre of Serbia, which acts as an umbrella organization for film making in the Republic of Serbia, the project was supported by the Provincial Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the City of Novi Sad and the municipalities of Stara Pazova, Novi Bečej and Bačka Palanka.
  The film premiere was also attended by State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović, Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić, Head of the Office of the Minister of Defence Brigadier General Goran Momčilović, Head of the Public Relations Department Brigadier General Asst. Prof. Mihailo Zogović, Director of the Military Film Centre "Zastava Film" Colonel Goran Ikonić, and some members of the film crew and cast.
