U.S.-Serbia Bilateral Defence Consultations
As part of their visit to the United States of America, a Ministry of Defence delegation led by State Secretary Nemanja Starović visited the U.S. Department of Defense to hold the 8th U.S.-Serbia Bilateral Defence Consultations.
This was also an opportunity to review the cooperation between Serbia and the USA in the field of defence, to lay a foundation for future cooperation in new areas and to broaden the existing one in areas of mutual interest. The two sides confirmed their intention to develop cooperation with the U.S. European Command (EUCOM), as the main implementer of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as with the Ohio National Guard through the Ohio-Serbia State Partnership Program.
Both sides confirmed their determination to cooperate with each other to the extent possible and expressed understanding of the conditions that might affect the cooperation in the forthcoming period.
The previous consultations were held in November 2021 in Belgrade, where the next ones will also be held in 2025.
