High school students from Šabac visit Military Academy
High school students from the municipality of Šabac, who have achieved notable results in various sports, visited the Military Academy today.
More than 50 students alongside representatives of the City of Šabac and the Sports Federation had the opportunity to see what this higher education military institution has to offer, and to spend time with the professors and cadets who told them about the education and life of the cadets who are preparing for military profession.
Commandant of the Military Academy and associate professor, Col. Srđan Blagojević, said he was pleased that the Military Academy could host high school students from Šabac and present to them everything that sets this military school apart from others, namely the facilities where the teaching, sports and cultural activities take place for all young people who decide to be Military Academy cadets. According to him, visits from students are a great opportunity for them and their teachers to learn first-hand why military schools are an excellent choice for those who see their future in the Serbian Armed Forces.
The cadets showed their guests what cadet life looks like, as well as a day in the lives of those who attend the Military Academy. High school students from Šabac also visited the memorial room that testifies to the rich tradition of our higher military education, the pistol range, the sports centre, and the flight simulator where they could try their hand at flying helicopters and airplanes and try out modern teaching aids.
During the visit, students and cadets engaged in sports activities together, and had lunch in the cadet restaurant.
