Bilateral defence consultation with Italian Republic



A delegation from the Italian Defence General Staff, led by the Head of the International Relations Office, Colonel Mattia Zuzzi, is paying a visit to Belgrade to attend a bilateral defence consultation.
The Italian delegation has been received by Colonel Nebojša Svijetlica, Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Defence Policy Sector of the Ministry of Defence.  

During the meeting, a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for the year 2024 was signed and the two delegations agreed that the defence cooperation was extensive, with both sides showing interest in its further enhancement.
The Italian delegation also visited the Defence University, where the capabilities of this educational institution were presented to them.  

The bilateral defence consultation is the continuation of a fruitful cooperation and it helps strengthen the overall relationship between the Republic of Serbia and the Italian Republic.
