Army scouts undergo cold-weather training
Members of the Army reconnaissance units have conducted a diverse tactical cold-weather training in Kopaonik.
This training course is part of regular training activities carried out by professional members of reconnaissance units with the aim of maintaining a high level of skill in providing intelligence on operations conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the training on the mountainous, snow-covered terrain, they practiced tactical actions and procedures related to reconnaissance patrols, raids and ambushes, gathering intelligence about enemy forces and the situation on the ground, utilizing modern observation devices used by the Serbian Armed Forces.
In addition to tactical training, they also practiced alpine skiing, since the knowledge of skiing techniques is necessary for an efficient execution of reconnaissance tasks in winter.
Continuous training in various tactical and weather conditions and on different types of terrain is of vital importance for maintaining and improving the capability of reconnaissance units to fulfil all assigned tasks and provide reliable and verified intelligence, which is of crucial importance for the success of SAF operations.
