Course on public finance in defence system begins
A course on public finance in the defence system, organized by the Budget and Finance Sector for members of the MOD and SAF finance corps, started today at the Accounting Centre.
At the opening ceremony, head of the Accounting Centre, Colonel Tomislav Radivojević, stressed the importance of continuous professional development for the finance corps personnel at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, in order for them to refresh the existing and gain new knowledge and experience in the field of public finance, in accordance with current regulations. 
The training programme comprises the financial management system at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the accounting system, auditing and financial control, planning at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the budget of the Republic of Serbia and financing the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, analysis and reports on the implementation of the financial plan, salaries, benefits and other income, as well as open items, the electronic invoicing system and the role of the SOVO Fund in the public finance system.
