Soldiers’ specialized skills tested
Individual skills assessment was carried out for soldiers who are doing their military service (September 2023 intake) at the SAF Specialized Training Centres.
The assessment was carried out following the second phase of the first training period, during which the soldiers were taught to carry out tactical combat actions on the battlefield and to handle various types of weapons, assets and military equipment in accordance with their military occupational specialties.The assessment included soldiers serving in the infantry, artillery, engineer corps, air defence artillery-missile units, as well as in the CBRN, logistics, telecommunications and airborne early warning services.
As evidenced by the results they have achieved, this generation of soldiers has fully mastered the programme covered in this training phase and is ready for collective training which they will undergo in SAF units in the final three months of their military service.
