State Secretary Starović Meets Ambassador of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Today, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović met Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Edward Ferguson.
State Secretary Starović pointed out that the orientation of our side for the period to come is to continue maintaining high-level dialogue and conducting activities in focal areas of cooperation such as military medicine and education.
Apart from the joint engagement in UN multinational operation UNFICYP in Cyprus, Ambassador Ferguson underlined the importance of cooperation in the field of collective training, and he expressed his hope that the upcoming period would bring about a progress in that segment as well.
As regards the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the interlocutors at today’s meeting noted the significance of the dialogue, and cooperation between members of KFOR and Serbian Armed Forces, all with a view of preventing, de-escalating and maintaining the stability in that area.
