Field Specialist Training for Soldiers
This week, soldiers doing voluntary military service of “September 2023” intake, who are trained for specialities of infantry and artillery branches, are undergoing practical training on military training areas.
In accordance with their specialities, the soldiers are trained in combat use of armament used by infantry and artillery units, concurrently adapting themselves to executing tasks and organisation of life and work in the field.
During several-day activities on training areas, they practise tactical actions and procedures in combat, and execute firing from the armament of their branch in line with firing programme, which represents a practical test of the level of success of conducted training as well as an opportunity for soldiers to be assured first-hand of combat capabilities of infantry and artillery assets to provide fire support.
Upon return from the field, a final part of specialist training will ensue, and then the test of competence of this intake of soldiers to execute individual tasks. After that, they will be transferred to units of the Serbian Armed Forces for a three-month training in the execution of collective tasks.
