CEDC + Defence Policy Directors’ Meeting
Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Colonel Nebojša Svjetlica, has participated in the meeting of the Central European Defence Cooperation (CEDC) Defence Policy Directors in Prague.
In addition to CEDC members, Western Balkan countries also participated in the meeting, hosted by the Czech Republic, which currently holds the presidency of this security initiative.
Besides the host country, representatives of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed topics such as the review of activities implemented in 2023 and a presentation of the Draft Programme of Activities 2024, the influence of conflicts in the neighbouring regions on the West Balkans region and a briefing on the development and modernization of armed forces.
