Visit to Army Training Centre



Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović visited the Army Training Centre at the “General Pavle Jurišić Šturm“ barracks in Požarevac today.
Accompanied by the commander of the Centre, he inspected the state of affairs in the unit and the execution of key tasks, and he attended a segment of training for non-commissioned officers, professional soldiers and soldiers who are performing their military service.

During the visit, he was also shown the classrooms, modern teaching devices, simulators and training grounds where all categories of active and reserve members of the Serbian Armed Forces, including the infantry, artillery, armoured units and engineer corps, are doing their specialized training.
  The Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces was accompanied on his tour by the commander of the Training Command, Major General Željko Petrović, and the head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Directorate (J-2, SAF General Staff), Brigadier General Dragan Arsenijević,.
