Armoured Units Day
Ceremonies were held today in the Serbian Armed Forces’ tank and mechanized battalions to mark the Armoured Units Day, which commemorates October 31, 1941, when rebels first employed tanks in the battles for the liberation of Kraljevo.
In front of branch members standing in formation, messages of congratulation were read, past year’s work results were summed up and awards and recognitions were presented to the most deserving individuals. 
Over the past year, members of armoured units have successfully carried out all their tasks, thus confirming that this branch, which is characterized by great firepower, mobility and armoured protection, is rightfully considered a striking force and a reliable support to the Serbian Armed Forces.
