Armoured and infantry units’ training
Soldiers who were recruited for the infantry and armoured branches in September 2023 are currently doing individual specialized training at the Army Training Centre.
In this training stage lasting for a month and a half, the soldiers are learning to use their branch weapons and assets and to carry out tactical actions and procedures in battle.
In accordance with the training programme and their military occupational specialties, infantry soldiers are currently practicing the handling of various types of hand weapons, carrying out offensive and defensive tactical actions as part of a team or squad, and performing reconnaissance during a mission.
In parallel with their training, armoured soldiers are acquiring specialist knowledge and skills in utilizing and maintaining tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, accompanying weapons and devices.
This training period ends with an individual skills assessment, followed by collective tasks training and soldiers’ involvement in the daily activities and tasks in the Serbian Armed Forces units upon the completion of their military service.
