Cadets and students complete loaded march
Third-year cadets of the Military Academy and Military Medical Academy’s Medical Faculty, along with students of the Secondary Vocational Military School “1300 Corporals”, today completed a loaded march in the Deliblato Sands area.
With a view to improving their physical condition, cadets of the 146th Class completed a 22-km march in full combat gear following a route from the Devojački Bunar picnic grounds to the Church of St. Basil of Ostrog and back. The marching column started from the Devojački Bunar picnic grounds led by Commander, Colonel Milan Končar, accompanied by Deputy Commander of the 146th Class, Captain 1st Class Nebojša Jocić.
Midway through their route, near the Church of St. Basil of Ostrog in the Deliblato Sands, they had a brief respite during which the cadets recited poems and sang patriotic songs.At the finish line, members of the Support Battalion and cadets attending the final year of the General Logistics study programme showed the marchers how to cook and get water in the field.
