Individual soldier skills assessed
Individual skills assessment has been carried out for soldiers who are performing their voluntary military service (September 2023 Class) at the Serbian Armed Forces’ Basic Training Centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
This is their first skills assessment after six weeks of training, the aim of which is to determine the soldiers’ ability to carry out on their own tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, to properly use weapons and military equipment and to perform internal and facility security duties.On the first day of the assessment, the soldiers performed tactical tasks, and on the second day they demonstrated their knowledge, abilities and skills in the use of military assets and equipment, close-order skills and knowledge of the Serbian Armed Forces’ Service Regulations.
The results achieved by the soldiers indicate that this class is fully prepared for the next training phase, which is due after their transfer to specialized training centres. There, they will received training in accordance with their military occupational specialties, after which they will be assigned to SAF units for collective training until the end of their military service.
