The President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, today met with the Commander of NATO's Joint Force Command Naples, Admiral Stuart Munsch, at the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
President Vučić described today’s meeting with Admiral Munsch as good and open, and as an opportunity to exchange opinions on the current security situations in the Western Balkans and the Middle East.
"I voiced grave concern over a drastic worsening of the already difficult situation of the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija and reiterated that Serbia supports KFOR engagement in strict, full and impartial implementation of its mandate based on UNSC Resolution 1244, as well as that we expect KFOR to maintain a status neutral position and act proactively with a view to preventing any deterioration of the security situation on the ground" – President Vučić wrote in his Instagram post following the meeting.
