Success of Members of Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces at 31st Novi Sad Marathon



At today’s 31st Novi Sad Marathon, members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces have achieved notable results in the events: marathon, relay marathon, 25 kilometre race, 10.5 kilometre race, 5 kilometre race, and 10.5 kilometre Nordic walking race.
Second Lieutenant Marko Božić took the second place at 31st Novi Sad Marathon, while Aleksa Krečković, cadet of 145th Class of the Military Academy successfully completed the race. A Military Grammar School team, consisting of 12 female and male pupils, took the second place in relay marathon event, right behind the team of Gendarmerie.

In 25 kilometre race, civilian Milivoje Jovović finished second, and in 10.5 kilometre race members of the Serbian Armed Forces took all three top places. The first place in 10.5 kilometre race was taken by Second Lieutenant Nataša Popović, the silver medal was taken by Lieutenant Marina Krstić, while the bronze went to Lieutenant Jelena Sarić.

Lieutenant Sara Stojković came third in the 5 kilometre race.

In 10 kilometre Nordic walking race, civilian Marija Panić from the Centre for Physical Education and Sports took the first place.
With the achieved results and noted participation at this traditional event, cadets of the Military Academy, pupils of the Military Grammar School, and professional members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces worthily represented their organisations and promoted the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces in the best possible manner.
