Promotion of Voluntary Military Service at 11th International Defence Exhibition PARTNER 2023
On the last day of 11th International Defence Exhibition PARTNER 2023 that was open for the public, there was a promotion of the voluntary military service under arms and a promotion of the military education. The promotions took place at a joint stand of the Compulsory Defence Service Department and Military Academy.
Apart from the state-of-the-art arms and military equipment, the visitors of this fair event had an opportunity to familiarise themselves in detail with the concept of the voluntary military service. Young officers and civilians employed in the Compulsory Defence Service Department informed he interested visitors about the conditions and manners of applying, the dynamics of six-month long training, and the opportunities offered during, and after the completion of the voluntary military service.
The stand shared by the Compulsory Defence Service Department and Military Academy was visited by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović.
A public call for the voluntary military service under arms is open throughout the year, and it is organised in four intakes – 1st March, 1st June, 1st September, and 1st December.
