Units earmarked for deployment to peacekeeping operations undergo capabilities evaluation
The capabilities of two SAF units earmarked for deployment to multinational operations under the Operational Capabilities Concept have been evaluated this week at Base South and Borovac training ground.
The degree of combat readiness and interoperability of two Army units - an MP platoon and a CBRN platoon, were evaluated.
During the tactical exercise that lasted for several days, these units carried out tasks that they might face during their engagement in multinational operations.
Their performance was assessed by the SAF evaluation team, which confirmed that the units had reached the competence standards required for engagement in an international environment.
The MP and CBRN platoons continue this cycle of intensive training, at the end of which they will undergo a final pre-deployment evaluation conducted by an international evaluation team.
Units earmarked by the Republic of Serbia for deployment to multinational operations under the Operational Capabilities Concept include an infantry company, two MP platoons, two CBRN platoons and a general support engineer company.
