Call for secondary school students to apply for student scholarships awarded by Ministry of Defence
We remind all interested secondary school students that the competition launched by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces for the award of student scholarships for the 2023/24 academic year is open until September 29, 2023.
Students who are starting their third or fourth year at secondary schools founded by the Republic of Serbia, an autonomous province or a local self-government can apply. It is important to note that secondary students whose GPA is at least four (very good) on a five-point grading scale, and five (excellent) on the behaviour grading scale each school year will be given an opportunity to get financial support amounting to 30,000-35,000 dinars per month, paid in 10 equal instalments due on the 15th day of the month for the previous month.The Serbian Armed Forces are offering scholarships to fourth-year students attending traffic and transport engineering and electrical engineering courses in secondary schools, whereas the Military Health Department of the Ministry of Defence is offering scholarships to the third and fourth-year students of medical schools.
After completing high school, the military scholarship beneficiaries will be offered employment as non-commissioned officers or civilian employees in Belgrade, Zuce, Batajnica, Jakovo, Pančevo, Mladenovac, or Kragujevac, which is specified in advance for each scholarship.We call on all interested candidates to apply!
