Competitions for admission to SAF Army units launched
The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces launched today competitions for the admission of new recruits to Army units – First Army Brigade, Second Army Brigade, Third Army Brigade, Fourth Army Brigade, Mixed Artillery Brigade, Т-72М Tank Battalion and Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion.
Young men and women between the ages of 18 and 30, who wish to show their responsibility and patriotism, and who opt for a secure job, opportunities for professional development and advancement and accelerated retirement, have an opportunity to submit their applications until October 15 and find their place in the Army units of the Serbian Armed Forces.We are offering various job profiles for different degrees of vocational education, including scouts, snipers, riflemen, gunners, machine gunners, tank and motor vehicle drivers, firemen, radiotelegraph operators, topographers and radiotelephone operators. Future candidates can also apply for the positions of guards, paramedics, dental technicians, cooks, tailors and mechanics. Their duty stations will be in Novi Sad, Bačka Topola, Sremska Mitrovica, Kraljevo, Valjevo, Novi Pazar, Niš, Kuršumlija and Vranje.
All candidates who meet the general and specific eligibility requirements can apply. Candidates who have the appropriate degree of vocational education for the positions they are applying for and meet the medical, psychophysical and security eligibility criteria, will be given the opportunity to join professional military service for a fixed period of six months, with the possibility of extending their employment contract for a period of up to three years and its subsequent renewal.
Candidates who have not completed military service under arms can also apply for the competition. However, they will be sent to perform military service under arms in order to satisfy the requirements for admission to professional military service. Candidates who have not completed their military service under arms must report to the competent regional centre of the Ministry of Defence to be registered in the military records before applying for the competition.The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces invite all interested candidates to demonstrate their sense of responsibility, readiness, courage and patriotism by serving their country as members of the Army units.
