Minister Vučević meets with outgoing Ambassador of China Chen Bo



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met today with the outgoing Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Chen Bo.
During the farewell visit, Minister Vučević thanked the Ambassador of China for her dedication to work and personal contribution to the development of cooperation and strengthening relations between the two countries.

Minister Vučević and Ambassador Chen Bo agreed that excellent relations between presidents Aleksandar Vučić and Xi Jinping are a confirmation of the “steel friendship” between the two countries.
The Minister of Defence thanked China for supporting Serbia’s efforts to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity and for maintaining an unchanged position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.

Ambassador Chen Bo underlined the importance of mutual support between Serbia and China when it comes to sovereignty and territorial integrity. She thanked Minister Vučević for his hospitality and expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation with Minister Vučević, the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces during her term.
