Formation flight training in Orao (Eagle) aircraft
Pilots of the 98th Air Brigade are currently receiving formation flight training in the Orao (Eagle) aircraft at the Morava Airport and in the wider area surrounding Kraljevo.
The training aims to help pilots maintain and improve their skills in this type of flying and carrying out more complex missions that require the engagement of multiple aircraft.
They are practicing tactics, techniques and procedures followed in various situations and weather conditions. Concurrently, aviation technicians of all specialties responsible for ensuring the aircrafts’ airworthiness are also receiving training.
The J-22 Orao is a fighter-bomber in the inventory of the 241st Fighter-Bomber Squadron. It is intended for providing fire support to Army units and fulfils its tasks mainly by engaging ground targets.
