Regarding the latest public statements by the Military Trade Union alleging that there is an increase in the number of military personnel resigning from professional military service, we announce that the dynamics of the inflow and outflow of the Serbian Armed Forces personnel is

We point out that the decision to put some units of the Serbian Armed Forces on alert due to the tension in Kosovo and Metohija was made on the basis of a thorough security assessment and the level of threat which, due to the aggressive and irresponsible policy pursued by the provisional Priština institutions, is directed against the Serbian population in our southern province.

Regarding the statement by the Military Trade Union, we also emphasize that all prescribed safety measures to protect personnel from heat stress at work are implemented in all commands, units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces and that personnel are tasked with only the most urgent assignments in the hottest periods of the day.
