2nd Army Brigade Day celebrated
A military ceremony was held today at the “Ribnica” barracks in Kraljevo to mark the Second Army Brigade Day, which is celebrated on July 12 in memory of the day in 1805 when Serbian rebels liberated Karanovac, now known as Kraljevo.
As part of the celebration, the unit’s accomplishments over the past period were summed up and prizes and awards were presented to the most deserving individuals.The summary of the results achieved over the past year highlighted the professionalism and proficiency of the Brigade members, which they demonstrated while carrying out the tasks assigned to them and during joint exercises, as well as their contribution to the enhancement of operational capabilities of the Army and greater security of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
Today, the members of the Second Army Brigade celebrated the unit’s feast day – the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the holy apostles.
