Minister Vučević Presented Decrees on Promotions and Appointments of Serbian Armed Forces Officers
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević conferred to officers of the Serbian Armed Forces decrees of President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić on promotions and appointments to new duties. Chief of General Staff of Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović attended the presentation of the decrees.
By Decree of the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović is appointed to the duty of the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces. Brigadier General Tiosav Janković is promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed as Head of Operations Department (J-3) of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces. Colonel Zoran Dragićević is promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed as Chief of Staff of the Army Command. Colonel Novica Gogić is assigned to the duty of Commander of 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
Minister Vučević congratulated the members of the Serbian Armed Forces on the promotions and appointments, hoping that they would proudly wear the new ranks and be even more successful in their future work. He expressed his belief that the officers would justify the given confidence once they assumed their new duties, and that they would execute all their tasks with great professionalism, motivation and dedication like they had done it until then.
Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović was born on 17th December 1965 in Novi Pazar. He has been in professional military service since 1988. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1988, completed Command Staff Course in 1998, General Staff Course in 2005, and the Advanced Security and Defence Studies in 2016. He performed the duty of Chief of Operations Department (J-3) of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Major General Tiosav Janković was born on 29th September 1974 in Užice. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, completed Command Staff Course in 2008, General Staff Course in 2013, and the Advanced Security and Defence Studies in 2017. Until now, he performed the duty of the Commander of 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
Brigadier General Zoran Dragićević was born on 13th August 1969 in Loznica. He has been in professional military service since 1988. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1991, completed Command Staff Course in 2000, General Staff Course in 2012. He previously performed the duty of the Signals Brigade Commander.
Colonel Novica Gogić was born on 13th April 1975 in Užice. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, completed Command Staff Course in 2010, General Staff Course in 2015. Until now, he performed the duty of the Deputy Commander of 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
