Regular Training in Serbian Armed Forces Infantry Units
Infantry units are conducting intensive training in execution of combat tactical level operations on training grounds and exercise areas of Serbian Armed Forces in zones of their peacetime locations.
This is collective training, carried out in cycles throughout the year with the view of maintaining a high level of infantry battalions’ competence to execute their assigned tasks in assault and defence.
The training includes the use of modern armoured fighting infantry vehicles “Lazar”, assets for immediate fire support, and a wide spectrum of light weapons. The focus is placed on the execution of tactical exercises and the realisation of firing from personal and collective weapons.
In the upcoming period, members of Infantry units will face tactical exercises and live firing, when they will practically test the results achieved in this training cycle.
Continuous and planned realisation of practical training and exercise activities in Serbian Armed Forces units, enhances individual competence of professional members and the overall combat readiness, which is vital for the conduct of combat actions in any terrain, and in all tactical and weather conditions.
