General Mojsilović KFOR is to protect the Serbian People in Kosovo and Metohija urgently
The Serbian Armed Forces are ready to fully execute every order issued by the Supreme Commander
In today’s public address, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces stated that he had demanded from KFOR Commander to take urgent measures to protect the Serbian people and their right to survive in our southern province. General Mojsilović pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces are ready to fully execute every order issued by the Supreme Commander in line with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and United Nations Charter.
- The Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija are exposed to a terrible pogrom by Priština regime of Albin Kurti. Every day, the Serbs are targeted by Albin Kurti, and they are only guilty of having Serbian names, Serbian last names and most likely because they do not want to leave their homes. The terror spread by Kurti’s regime cannot be physically tolerated any longer - the Chief of General Staff stressed.
He stated that in the light of all facts, and because of a correct and professional cooperation, he had informed KFOR Commander that the Serbian Armed Forces followed the events with great apprehension requesting that urgent measures be taken to protect the Serbian people and their right to survival.
- This is our plea to KFOR units, and entire KFOR, and other international security institutions in Kosovo and Meyohija - General Mojsilović emphasised.
According to him, the Serbian Armed Forces have been fulfilling and are fulfilling all their international legal obligations stemming from the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, Military Technical Agreement and all provisional procedures for the work and mode of operation along the Administrative line. However, as he stated, it is clear that, at present, the international community does not fulfil its obligations.
- In keeping with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and United Nations Charter, if the Serbian Armed Forces receive the order from the Supreme Commander, they will fully execute all their tasks with respect to the overall security crisis. Long live Serbia! - exclaimed the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
