National Security Council meeting held
Today, the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, held a National Security Council meeting to discuss the latest developments in Kosovo and Metohija. The meeting was held at the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović. Other high-ranking officers of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces were also in attendance.Due to the brutal use of force by Albin Kurti and his forces against the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia will remain on full combat alert until further notice.
At the National Security Council meeting, all necessary security measures were agreed upon, with a view to strengthening the defence capabilities of the Republic of Serbia.It was emphasized that KFOR/NATO had not fulfilled its obligations under UNSC Resolution 1244 and the Kumanovo Military Technical Agreement.
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, is authorized to maintain direct contact with the KFOR commander, in an effort to make sure that KFOR/NATO fulfills its function and mandate, in accordance with the relevant UN documents, and protects the Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija.Serbia will remain steadfast and unwavering in the protection of its people.
