High fire accuracy against ground and aerial targets
Temporary components formed for the purpose of Joint Tactical Live Fire Exercise “Joint Response 2023” continue with their field activities, increasing the intensity and complexity of readiness training each day.
In order to improve the degree of training of the Serbian defence forces as well as their ability to carry out joint tactical and fire missions in preparation for and during a combat operation, various tactical drills, exercises and live fire practices are being conducted.Subordinate units are using a broad range of infantry, artillery, armoured and air defence weapons to execute fire missions assigned to them by the staff commanding the exercise. In addition to the crews’ firing skills against ground and aerial targets, their tactical work and knowledge of materiel is also being checked.
A series of live fire drills using weapons of all calibres and purposes will continue over the following several days, in order to fully prepare individuals and units for rapid and efficient destruction of designated targets, thus creating favourable conditions for own and collaborating forces to carry out combat actions and ensure final success of the operation.
