Meeting with Ambassador of Cyprus in Belgrade



Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, met with the Ambassador of Cyprus to Serbia, H.E. Demetrios Theophylactou.
At the meeting, held at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, the interlocutors discussed the current politico-security situation in the region, and the prospects for the development of military-to-military cooperation.

During the talks, they reconfirmed the orientation towards the further development of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and National Guard of Cyprus assessing that military-to-military cooperation represents an important segment of the overall relations between the two countries, which has been characterised, throughout history, by closeness and friendship.
On that occasion, General Mojsilović expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Theophylactou for the steadfast support rendered by the Republic of Cyprus to our country, both in terms of the preservation of territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia and the integration process in the European Union.
