Gun Salute to Mark Serbian Armed Forces Day



Upon the order of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, to mark 23rd April, Serbian Armed Forces Day, members of the Gurad of the Serbian Armed Forces fired a gun salute from Sava Plateau on Kalemegdan.
 
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended the gun salute of 10 volleys from six artillery weapons.
 
The Serbian Armed Forces celebrate their holiday on 23rs April in memory of the day when the Second Serbian Uprising started in 1815, which was a milestone in the creation of the modern Serbian state and military.
