Minister Vučević dismisses allegations that weapons and ammunition were delivered to Ukraine

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević has dismissed the Reuters news agency’s allegations that Serbia has sold weapons to Ukraine as untrue, saying that Serbia has not and will not sell weapons to either Ukraine or Russia.

- We have rejected those allegations more than ten times, and we will do it again. Someone obviously aims to drag Serbia into that conflict, but we adhere to our policy consistently. There is always the possibility that some weapons might mysteriously appear on the territory where there is a conflict, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Serbia. That is a question for the countries that do not conform to international norms or terms of business agreements. I repeat, Serbia has not sent any weapons to Ukraine and all allegations published on that topic are false rumours - said Minister Vučević.

- Serbia has a clear policy defined on the basis of what we adopted at the National Security Council in February last year, and we stick to it. Nothing has changed since then. Serbia has not and will not sell any complex combat systems, armaments, assets or weapons to Russia or Ukraine throughout the duration of the conflict," said Minister Vučević.
