Military Medical Academy extends working hours
The Military Medical Academy has reintroduced extended working hours during which all citizens who would like to be examined or provided with the services of the MMA doctors can do so on a commercial basis.
Examinations are performed Monday to Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in more than 20 specialist and sub-specialist offices of the MMA Polyclinic and can be scheduled every working day through the MMA Patient Appointment Scheduling Service. Citizens can choose the type of examination they want to get and get necessary information on a particular doctor they want to be examined by, and choose the appointment date accordingly. Appointments can be scheduled every working day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. via following phone numbers: 011/3608-498, 011/3609-399, 011/2662-717, or in person, by visiting the MMA Polyclinic.The prices of medical examinations vary depending on the doctor’s experience and length of service, i.e. whether they are performed by a specialist, a DMSc, a Prim.Dr. or a professor of a certain branch of medicine, and the complete price list of services is published on the Military Medical Academy website.
Due to great interest in this type of treatment, the MMA has decided to start providing medical services during extended working hours again, which keeps the MMA competitive with other clinics on the market and ensures the availability of medical services to a larger number of citizens, without burdening the health insurance funds. The citizens of our country and neighbouring countries, as well as foreigners, used medical services provided by the MMA Polyclinic on commercial basis even before the outbreak of Covid pandemic.
The income generated from providing commercial medical services during extended hours will be used to pay compensation to all health professionals working after hours, cover maintenance costs, and purchase medical supplies and equipment for this military health institution.
