Training with critical systems in 126th ASEWG Brigade
Professional members of the 126th ASEWG Brigade are currently being trained to carry out surveillance and control of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia in the locations where the Brigade’s units are deployed.
The training is being conducted as part of daily activities carried out by the units deployed at radar sites, and includes the training of radar and computer technicians and data display and identification operators.
The goal is for the personnel working with critical radar assets and systems to sustain the required degree of training and improve communication and cooperation between ASEWG combat teams.
The training process implies going through the procedures of gathering, processing and distributing data while carrying out radar surveillance of the airspace situation and checking the performance of technicians responsible for maintaining the systems’ hardware and software components.
The aim of this type of training is to make sure that all members of the 126th ASEWG Brigade meet the highest training standards, which is, alongside highly functional radar-computer assets, a prerequisite for maintaining an efficient control and protection of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
