Minister Vučević meets with Minister Stojanov at “Schuman Forum”



Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria, Dimitar Stojanov, on the sidelines of the “Schuman Forum” in Brussels.
At the meeting, the two ministers had an opportunity to analyse the previous defence cooperation and talk about the issues of strategic significance, not only in the field of defence, but in terms of the enhancement of the overall relations of the two countries.

Minister Vučević especially reflected on the joint live firing of members of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Serbian Armed Forces and Bulgarian Armed Forces at the training area “Shabla” on the coast of the Black Sea, and on the training of members of Bulgarian Armed Forces on Mig-29 simulator held at the airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” in Belgrade.
Ministers of defence of Serbia and Bulgaria assessed that the defence cooperation is good with possibilities for its further enhancement in the areas of mutual interests.
