Minister Vučević attends Defence Attachés Conference

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended the 10th Conference of the Defence Attachés of the Republic of Serbia, which was held at the Guard Club in Topčider today. The conference was also attended by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, and members of the defence minister’s collegium.
The conference was opened by the director of the Military Intelligence Agency, Major General Zoran Stojković, following which the defence attachés briefed the minister and the members of his collegium about the global political and security situation and the ways in which global processes can reflect on the situation in our region. One of the topics discussed at the conference was the contribution of the defence attachés to the enhancement of military and military-economic cooperation with other countries, and the affirmation of Serbia and its defence system.
The conference, which was held for the 10th consecutive year, has become a traditional format for defence attaches to gather for direct exchange of experiences, and an opportunity to review their performance and provide them with guidelines for their future work.
