Meetings with senior U.S. officials at Pentagon
As part of his official visit to the United States of America, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, had several bilateral meetings with senior officials of the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington.
At the Pentagon, General Mojsilović had separate meetings with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, and other U.S. Department of Defense officials.
The meetings discussed the current security situation in the world and challenges in the region, as well as bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and the USA. The talks were open, wide-ranging, professional and focused on the future. The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Washington, Marko Đurić, also attended the meetings.
In the continuation of his visit to Washington, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff will meet with the Chief of the U.S. National Guard Bureau, General Daniel Hokanson, with whom he will discuss bilateral military cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with an emphasis on the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard.
