He said that Serbia was fully committed to military neutrality, in accordance with the Resolution of the National Assembly, and added that the Ministry of Defence would continue to pursue a balanced defence policy, striving to improve and further develop relations with partner countries and international organizations, in line with national interests and foreign policy priorities.
Minister Vučević said that overall bilateral relations between the two countries were good and that they exhibited a continuous upward trend in recent years. He emphasized that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces were committed to the further development and improvement of mutually beneficial defence cooperation with Slovakia.
According to Ambassador Rosocha, Serbia and Slovakia are sincere and reliable partners, and during his term of office he wants to contribute as much as possible to cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defence and economy. He said that Slovakia’s position was clear and based on the principles of international law, and he described the request of the so-called Kosovo for admission to the EU as premature.
